Hello! I'm Jenny!
I'm a student (soon to be graduate) at Cardinal Stritch University, majoring in Art & Education, with a minor in art history.
When I began by journey as an undergrad, I wanted to be a classroom art educator and encourage students to not be afraid to make mistakes or experiment creatively. When I got into the classroom, although I enjoyed it, I didn't feel fulfilled. Yet, I knew that I loved art and I wanted to teach people and share my passion with them. I began volunteering at the Milwaukee Art Museum which spurred a new journey for me! I now have had a few internships in museums and I found that I can share my knowledge and passion with people; not just kids, but adults too!
With my latest internship, I've been able to get my feet wet in a few different departments: exhibitions, the resource center and the preparatory team. Not only am I learning about art history, I'm also getting to help out in the galleries setting up shows- making art history happen!
When I'm not doing homework or working at my café, I create ceramic pieces, along with paintings and I dabble in photography too! I also like cooking, making terrariums and playing with my cat, Lucy!
